The Community Cares KC Advisory Council:

The Kansas City Housing Coalition (KCHC) aka Community Cares KC will be an advocacy group that examines current housing policies related to affordability and attainability with a particular focus on policies and programs for single-family rehabilitated and newly-constructed workforce housing units for Kansas City’s central city neighborhoods.

The Community Cares web site is produced by iSTEAMKC. iSTEAMKC was founded by Pat Jordan, a civic and community leader based in Kansas City, MO. iSTEAM is a workforce development program offering real world learning for late stage high school and college-aged students in media technology. Its headquarters is located in the Vine Street Studio at 2033 Vine Street and is a part of the 18th & Vine Historic Jazz District.
