COMMUNITY CARES KC: 2025 ADVOCACY BOARD

At Community Cares KC, we believe that real change starts with strong leadership and dedicated advocacy. Our Advisory Council is made up of distinguished local leaders from the community, real estate, and business sectors—each passionate about addressing Kansas City’s workforce and affordable housing challenges.

Together, we work to examine and influence housing policies that impact affordability and attainability, ensuring that hardworking families have access to stable, high-quality homes. Our focus is on revitalizing Kansas City’s central city neighborhoods by advocating for policies and programs that support the rehabilitation and construction of single-family workforce housing.

Our Mission

We are more than an advocacy group—we are a catalyst for policy change. By collaborating with policymakers, developers, and community stakeholders, we aim to remove barriers and create opportunities for equitable homeownership and neighborhood revitalization.
